Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Near Union Station

I have had 4 stays here over the last two or three months. The check in staff is always kind, friendly, helpful, and efficient. ALL staff, housekeeping too, I've encountered have greeted me and treated me with kindness and respect. The staff really does give the hotel a welcoming vibe and I hope they are recognized and appreciated for the work they do!! Rooms have always been spotless for me. I come to STL for work on the weekends. Working nights, I really just need a place to sleep during the day that is safe and clean. This hotel provides that and then some. Love getting off work in the morning and coming back to the breakfast! Since working weekends in STL, I have stayed at five different hotels. This is by far.my favorite. Meets all my needs. Consistently great. No complications.

The hotel was one of the best that we have stayed at. It was clean and quiet. Every employee we spoke to was friendly and seemed to enjoy the guests that they interacted with. We loved the happy hour service that we had never experienced before at any other hotel. It ran very smoothly, and the employee in charge on the night we went had a great sense of humor, all while he enforced rules. We really liked that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel, allowing us not to have to explore the city just to eat dinner. That restaurant had great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel had a great selection of food and drinks. We were very happy that we could walk to Union Station from the hotel. The city is a very walkable city, from what we could tell during our stay. The room itself was comfortable, had a great view of Union Station, and the curtains actually blocked out the city lights.

The location was great, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free parking made this a better value than most of the other hotels downtown that charge $50 or more per night.

This hotel was perfectly located for our overnight trip for the Kelsea Ballerini concert. Syberg’s the restaurant attached to hotel offered a shuttle to the concert venue for $2 per person each way which came in handy due to pouring rain our entire stay. Super close to Union Station which we would have walked to had our trip been longer. In nice weather we could have easily walked to the Enterprise Center also. Definitely keeping this hotel in mind for our next trip to St. Louis. The free covered parking was also a plus.

The staff were so friendly and polite. We got there on a Friday around 5:15. Middle of alot of guests coming and going, a cardinals game getting ready to start ECT. And the staff still were very polite,willing to answer any questions, and explained shuttle for the game, every night of your stay they offer free snacks,beer and wine for two hours which we thought was great right before we left for the game. The breakfast was great and well organized.
